Ford recalls 18,448 cars in Russia over gearbox, airbag issues

MOSCOW, Mar 18 (PRIME) -- Ford Sollers, the official representative of the U.S. carmaker Ford on the Russian market, is recalling 18,448 cars in the country due to possible problems with gearboxes and airbags, the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology said on Wednesday.

The company is recalling 9,318 Ford Mondeo cars sold in March 2015–December 2019 and 9,130 Ford Ranger vehicles sold in February 2004–December 2012.
